In great thickets with Crescentia alata.

Description
Bushes, 4 m. with red brown bark. Leaves glossy bottle green above and paler beneath.Flowers are in very C. Calothrsus-like racemes with green buds, green/yellow sepals and right red staminal filaments. The style is red at the base and white at tip. Pods ripen from glabrous green to brown with long stiff red hairs in some bushes. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
