Forest on slopes. Being attacked by slash and burn agriculture, upper edge of dry forest with Schinopsis haenkeana and lower edge of more humid montaine forest.

Description
Tree 12 m tall, 30 cm in diameter; bark more or less smooth. Inflorescence erect, with light fragrance like Prunus americana; flowers white with yellow-orange center.
