Mexico. Chiapas. Close to the track running north from the small town of Francisco y Madero towards the village of Adolfo Lopez Mateos in hills about 20 km north of the Town Cintalapa de Figueroa.

Scattered in highly degraded secondary vegetation with Leucana diversifolia and Acacia pennatula. Infrequent.

Description
Small multiple-stemmed shrubby tree to 2 m. height; slender woody stems less than 5 cm. dbh. A single ripe pod collected. Flowers and buds. [See label for further plant description.]. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
