Habitat
This species is growing in a river valley with Calliandra juzepzukii, Cecropia and Ficus sp.

Description
15-20 m. tree. Leaves bottle green and waxy; Corola: green/yellow corolla. Staminal filaments pink, white at the base. There are 1-2 functionally female flowers. Green calix; Pods are a stiff dark brown legume, with raised margins opening at the tip. [See label for further plant description.]. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
