    Scattered in secondary vegetation with Luhea candida and Bursera. Locally common.

  • Description

    Small branchy, multiple-stemmed treelet to 2.5 m. ht. with upright form.Bark pale whitish grey, smooth inner bark greenish. Leaves slightly discolourous, mid green above paler below. Flowers arranged in a large erect terminal racemes opening acropetally. Calyx and corolla pale yellow green, stamen filamnets and style scarlet, wilting by 8:-- a.m., anthers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
