Pine-fir zone, deep heavily wooded barranca at end of abandoned lumber road. In dry forest & becoming a weed in cut over areas. Abundant.

Color Flor: Bright yellow, rays in age white & persistent. Selected small inflorescences Selected small inflorescences; Arbusto: Shrub; 3-4 m high; Simple or branched above.
