Description
Heads yellow, 5-8 rays. With reduced pappus, disck achenes long-hary, not winged, with a pappus of 2 paleaceous awns and several shorter, lacerate, more or less connate scales; Arbol: tree; up to about 10 m tall, the trunk up to 3 dm thick.
