Mexico. Oaxaca. About 9 km NNW of Etla on side track to San Pedro and San Pablo Etla, about 15 km NNW of Oaxaca, close to the main Oaxaca to Mexico road.

Cultivated throughout the Oaxaca Valley in and around towns and villages and also in fields in tradicional agroforestry systems; sometimes weakly naturalized. Very abundant.

Color Corola: Corolla pale greenish white. Style white. Stamen filaments white, anthers pale yellow-green. The flowers heads on terminal pseudo-panicles. Calyx pale greenish white; Leaf rachis and petiolar gland maroon; Arbol: Medium-sized tree with heavy.
