Puerto Rico. N of Hwy 2 at Km marker 217, just east of town of Tallaboa, on slopes facing the sea.

Habitat
Scrub forest with many characteristic arid species, no trees or shrubs over ca. 2.5 m tall. Guettarda, Uniola virgata, Comocladia dodonaea, Thrinax morrisii, Turnera diffusa, Nashia, Pictetia aculeata, Antirhea acutata, Reynosia uncinata. Limestone substrate on slope.

Description
Herb ca. 25 cm tall; flowers pale pink; fruit green. This species locally common in disturbed clay soil. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
