    Caespitose perennial to 1.5 dm across; leaves erect broadly spathulate to elliptic, margins slightly revolute; inflorescence capitate on tomentose scapes, involucres campanulate, flowers cream to rose, tepals glabrous. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
