    Mat forming perennial, 3-4 cm high, mats 1 dm across, leaves oblanceolate erect, margins plane; inflorescence capitate on tomentose scapes 1-3 cm long, some slightly red, perianth pale yellow, glandular on back. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
