    The surrounding woods with sassafras albidum, Prunus serotina and naturalized Aitlanthus altissima.

  • Description

    Old tree 10 m. tall. Another plant here of this species with a dense, full and healthy crown, but the lower branches up to about 1.5 m. were badly deer-browsed, indicating that the deer population was low until recently here. Cultivated. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
