City park. Appaently calcarous soil, with small limestone outcrop-ridge at high point.

Description
Cultivated tree ca. 80 ft tall, mature, trunk ca, 3 ft om diameter, male cones green - at branch tips; branches and leaves dimorphic - younger leaves [lower, in shade] planar, upper spirally imbricate; all shiny. Old trees, branches congested at limb tips, somewhat pendulous at end of limbs. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
