    On disturbed areas. Heavily grazed and degraded flat roadside pullout on decomposed granitic soil with abundant sheep pellets. Surrounding areas of open Pinus monophylla woodland and Artemisia tridentata scrub. With Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Leymus cinereus, Descurainia paradisa, Descurainia sophia, Amsinckia menziesii, Lepidium perfoliatum, Mentzellia, Chenopodium, Monolepis. Common.
