Description
Tree 25 feet tall; leaves firmly membranaceous, dark green above, buff-brown below with conspicuous raised ferruginous brown nerves; stems and rachis ferruginous; calyx buff-yellow; petals pinkish-white; filaments orchid; base of anther with papilla-like appendages [see illustration]. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
