Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Referred to Suframa website (http://www.suframa.gov.br/mapa4.swf), which provided a map showing location of ZF-1. Road ZF-1 meets BR-174 at approximately 41 km. from Manaus toward Caracarai, and connects BR-174 and AM-010. Using Google Maps, located road ZF-1. From previous georeferences and clues, deciphered that most distances along this road are measured starting at junction of ZF-1 and AM-010 (toward where the road meets BR-174), unless otherwise specified. Starting at the junction with AM-010, measured approximately 2 km. (2.00010 km.) toward the junction with BR-174. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find coordinates. Used measurement tool again (Google Maps) to measure the linear extent of Manaus. Input coordinates, linear extent (14317.95 m.), measurement error (.01 m.), and distance precision (100 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferncing Calculator to calculate the uncertainty radius.
