Habitat
Sandstone with sand-filled depressions.

Description
Slender wiry shrub with willowy little branched pale grey brown stem to 2 m. Leaves fasciculate, grey green. Calyces with shining golden glands, on ascending peduncles. Calyx in fruit with white hairs in throat. Corolla bright lavender blue, paler in throat. Filaments style and stigma lavender. Anthers deep blue purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
