Habitat
In seepage area at base of cliff at major pour-off of the canyon, in deep shade; canyon floor densely wooded. With Quercus, Pseudotsuga, Pinus ponderosa, and Toxicodendron; intimately mixed with Pohlia. On slanting rock on ceiling of overhand, on sandy floor beneath, and in crevices.
