Description
Two microslides. Letters from R.W.G. Dennis (Kew) to D.P. Rogers (NY) regarding specimen in packet #00883580. First letter, 18 Aug 1953: " . . . I am wondering if Coryne microspora E&E is an earlier name for [Ombrophila pellucida] . . . " Second letter, 9 Sep 1953: " . . . is, as I suspected, no Coryne but an Ombrophila identical with the late O. pellucida A.L.Sm. from the West Indies. It is also virtually indistinguishable from our common Ombrophila or Neobulgaria pura, . . . ".

Note: Annot. by R.W.G. Dennis (9 Sep 1953): "Structurally identical with Ombrophila (Neobulgaria) pura Fr./Petr. and probably not specifically separable but in Europe that species seems confined to Fagus logs."
