Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of Serra Curicuriari, in Amazonas, Brazil. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located Serra Curicuriari, to the west of Rio Negro nearby the village of São Pedro. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the mountain. Used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the mountain. Because Serra Curicuriari has defined spatial boundaries, used the linear extent as the uncertainty radius.
