U /created 1976 due to raised track construction (to Research Station) impounding surface water of surrounding seasonally damp campo. % In full sun in water 30 cm-70 cm. deep mud bottom water temp, at collecting time c.90 °F- Very common. Flowers buttercup yellow with orange patterning on upperside of lip. Leaves all slightly bronze-tinged olive green. Mature scape flushed wine red or entirely pale to dark wine red, glossy. Leafy axis pale dull pink-flushed, translucent. Bladders black. Leaves just below water surface to +_ resting on the bottom, Flowers in all stages of development, with many mature or shed fruits Fruits very glossy, lime green.
