Habitat
Thick scrubby xeromorphic "cerrado" of shrubs & small trees to 3 m. tall plus scattered trees to 8 m. Semi-closed tree & tall shrub cover. This spot originally "cerradao" woodland. Ground layer mostly Aristida pallens.

Description
Shrub to 2.25 m. tall, with several erect stems from base. Flowers just beginning to open. Petals, filaments and anthers white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
