Description
Tree. cespitose palm, up to 3 m tall. Spines on trunk, sheath and petiole. 7-8 leaves per stem. 55-60 pinnea per side. Leaf sheath open, 10 cm long. Petiole 70 cm long, rachis 1.5 m long. Basal pinnea 50 cm, middle 70 cm, top 30 cm. Peduncular bract spiny, 40 c. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
