Description
Tree. Palm up to 3 m tall, clustered stems. Spines on trunk. 4-6 leaves per sten. Sheath open, 20 cm long. Petiole 60 cm long. Leaf blade 1 m in diameter. Inflorescence with 9 rachillae, 20 cm long. Peduncle 25 cm long. Fruits scaly and brown. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
