Igarapé do Leão seems to be a tributary off Rio Negro, north-northwest of the city of Manaus, approximately 5 km. west of BR-174. Using Google Maps, located Igarapé do Leão. Georeferenced to the geographic center of this Igaraé do Leão, along the shoreline south of the stream nearby the road. Used the measurement tool to measure a straight line between the two points on the stream most removed from each other within the administrative boundaries specified in the locality description, from the start and finish of this stream. Halved this distance to approximate the midpoint of this stream. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates at the midpoint.
