Habitat
Among basalt boulders. Frequently shaded by Conocarpus erectus (button mangrove) and Coccoloba uvifera (sea grape).

Description
Small herb: 30-40 cm. wide and 15-20 cm. tall. Corollas pale purple, open all day but detaching in the late afternoon. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
