Description

Tree 15m tall, the trunk ca 22 cm diam; bark greyish/red. NYBG Accession Number: "5323/95 A Pinus echinata, PT, Unknown". This is the sixth tree from the S of 6 Pinus trees growing in a ± S to N line about 35 m long (sequentially from South to North are Atha 8472, 8473, 8474, 8475, 8476, 8478). Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
