    Nutlets 4, 2 mm, pale grayish-green, ovate, sharp-angled lower half, scabrous-like with slender tubercles all over; groove essentially closed, forked and open at base; flower calyx 5 mm, mibrib greatly thickened with bristles, otherwise hirsute; stems apparently hirsute. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
