United States of America. California. Mono Co. Glass Mountain Region, east slope of Black Mountain, appx. 3 km SSE of peak, 750 m east of end of old mining / ranch road from Kelty Meadows area.

Habitat
Narrow dry drainage running S-N surrounded by rocky granitic slopes and ridges ultimately flowing into Black Lake, Pinus monophylla woodland with dry scrub of Cercocarpus ledifolius etc., occasional clumps around rocks above wash.
