Habitat
Open scrub on white sand with damp areas and extensive sedge meadow. Partly burnt over.

Description
Bushy shrub to 1.5 m. Leaves dull green, often red-tinged. Stems red-tinged. Petals white. Anthers yellow, filaments pale yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
