Summit of area of rolling, nearly level plateau on sandstone substrate. Thin soil atop bedrock. Dwarf scrub forest with discontinuous canopy 6 m. tall.

Tree, 6 m. tall, 20 cm. diameter. Bark reddish-brown, fibrous. Sterile. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
