Primary montane rain forest, on top of gentle hill.

Description
Palmlet. Understory tree, solitary. Few visible roots. Crownshaft absent. Stem ca. 60 cm, thickness 1cm, texture smooth. Crownshaft absent. 10 leaves per stem, sheath open. Petiole section margined, rachis length 42 cm. Lamina pinnate, flat, lenght 59 cm, width 34 cm. Number of pinnae per side 2 or 3. Pinnae insertion regular. Middle pinna length 35 cm. Inflorescence interfoliar. Peduncle 34 cm, width 1cm, infructescence spicate. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
