Description
Liana. Canopy, cespitose, liana. Few visible roots. Stem aerial, very long, 1 cm thick. Internodes length 50cm. Stem texture smooth. Sheath closed petiole section margined. Rachis 50 cm, lamina pinnate, width 23 cm, length 86 cm. Lamina structure flat. 7 pinnae per side. Pinnae insertion regular. Middle pinnae length 14 cm. Spines present on sheaths, petiole, rachis, pinnae. Spines black. Sterile.
