United States of America. Utah. Beaver Co. In the Tushar Mountains along Forest Service road 153, at Big Flat, ca. 3 miles south of Puffer lake. Fishlake National Forest, Delano Peak Quad (7 1/2 min.).

Habitat
Large meadow at flat stretch of road to summit with spruce, fir, and aspen on the periphery. growing with Potentilla, Trifolium, Carex, and Penstemon. Ground alomost completely covered in plant life. Locally abundant.

Sepals reddish/pink, petals yellow. Appear to be rhizomatous. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
