Description
Herb, the stolons or rhizomes long, fleshy; leaf blade abaxials subglaucous; phyllaries very pale green/yellow, the rays absent. There are several plants of this species growing in a small area of a few meters. This is the only population I've found at Ice Pond so far. The "abnormal" plants on this specimen are smaller and have depauperate capitula as compared to the sympatric "normal" plants (Atha 8034) which are larger and have well developed capitula. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
