Level site between basalt outcrops, less than 2° slope to south. Area was recently flooded and retains pools of water to 3 ft. across. In Artemisia tridentata-Stipa comata community with Stipa comata, Poa pratensis, Purshia tridentata and Chrysothamnus nauseosus. Abundant.
