Mesic forest in deep east-west drainage on north-facing slope, deep soils on granitic substrates, canopy of Pinus lambertiana, Quercus kelloggii, Abies concolor, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Calocedrus decurrens with an understory of Alnus rhombifolia (along creek), Cornus nuttallii, and Corylus cornuta. on Abies.
