    Tree 18 m. tall, 16 cm. in diam.; bark loosely flaky in brown longitudinal strips; inner bark dark red with sticky red latex; sapwood light brown, gradually darkening towards center. Leaves green above, rusty beneath.Inflorescences rusty. Vouch.
