Used Google Maps - Earth and Maps Views to locate the city of Jaci Paraná and Rio Madeira. Used the Google Maps – Measure Distance Tool to measure a straight line between the approximate geographic center of the shore of the city of Jaci Paraná to the confluence of Rio Jaci Paraná and Rio Madeira, then halved this distance to find the midpoint of the line. Chose a point along the shoreline of Rio Jaci Paraná nearest to the midpoint of the line; used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates. Used the Google Maps – Measure Distance Tool again to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farther of the localities.
