  • Description

    Herb, mostly prostrate with distinctive Parietaria smell; stems fleshy, pink, nearly transparent. There are a couple of plants here, growing out of container-shaped soil and root mass of some discarded woody plant. This Parietaria never collected before in NY state. It probably arrived from southeastern US or tropical American nursery stock and is unlikely to escape or persist. Phenology of specimen: Flower and Fruit.
