Habitat
Rain forest, changing to disturbed areas with scattered trees and woodland, dominated by "Pteridium", at higher altitudes. This plant growing over bushes just below summit.

Description
Climber to about 2 m. Leaves with very coriaceous leaflets arching on each side of midrib. Calyx whitish. Corolla lilac with tube white within with deeper reddish lines. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
