Description
Herb, ± erect, the rhizomes robust, nodes swollen, rooting in contact with water, the emergent stems to 2 m above the water surface; leaves very hot peppery tasting; flowers pure white. Growing sympatrically with Persicaria hydropiperoides (Atha and Doyle 7957). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
