Description
Herb, decumbent, the rhizomes ca 1 m long, the nodes not swollen, all rooting when in contact with water, the stems emergent to ca 30 cm above the water surface; leaves not peppery tasting; flowers pink and white. These plants found in a small group of 10 or so individuals, growing in a an opening of otherwise very dense Persicaria robustior (Atha and Doyle 7958). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
