Habitat
Elfin forest. On steep slope off of trail. Uncommon.

Description
Treelet. 3 m. Older stems slightly tetragonal, young stems flattened. Leaf margins inrolled. Inflorescence brownish furfuraceous. Flowers closed, but exposed petals have pinkish tinge. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
