Freshwater emergent marsh with low, deciduous forest on higher ground.

Description
Herb ca 1 m tall from fusiform roots and several black adventitious roots; basal leaves like the upper, margins scarcely undulate; growing in20-30 cm deep water. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
