Habitat
In washes along road. Open pinyon-juniper woodland on barren shale pavement (Parachute member of the Green River Formation), along east-west-trending ridge. Moderate to steep slopes. Scattered Amelanchier utahensis; Cercocarpus montanus common in draws. Area rather heavily browsed. Scattered.
