United States of America. California. Mono Co. Along the sloping crest of the ridge that forms that south flank of Silverado Canyon. Sweetwater Mountains, ca. 75 km west of Hawthorne, Nevada.

Habitat
On a broad, andesitic dike along the sloping crest of the rhyolitic ridge. Plants not seen on the rhyolite.

Description
Flowers white, with a small yellow eye. Nearly mature nutlets thin-edged, shiny, smooth to obscurely roughened. Style ca. 0.9 mm > [7?] nutlets. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
