Description
Shrub 6-8 ft. tall; fruit purple-red when mature. Shrub 6-8 ft. tall with dark glabrous leaves and 5 parallel, deeply-sunken veins giving corrugated effect. Flowers on terminal, branching heads; buds tubular, corolla white and calyx green. Fruit a greenish (purple-red when mature) berry, with the remnant of the calyx adhering to ovary. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
