Cloud/moist pine forest with Alchornea, Baccharis, Brunellia, Cestrum, Didymopanax, Eupatorium, Garrya, Miconia and Myrsine. Occasional.

Description
Shrub or small tree to 4.5 m tall. Flowers white, actinomorphic. Petals red-tinged at tips, reflexed. Anthers white. Leaves ferrugineous beneath. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
