Habitat

One other tree seen on grounds of headquarters and another seen on walk to Leo Val.
Description

Small tree, 8 m tall. Same tree as collected on 23 Sep 1976 (Mori & Bolten 8378) in fruit with ripe seed. This collection from tree just beginning to flower. Hypanthium light brown, calyx-lobes green, petals pink, androecial hood white, innermost row of stamens with dark yellow anthers, the rest of the anthers light yellow. Part of non-stamen bearing androecial ring toward entrance to flower pink.
